Here's why:
This is what time it is.....

This is what we're doing.....

And here's why.....After discovering what my 4 year old did (read below) before I woke up this morning, I hopped online in search of these.....
After searching for over an hour and finding that particular kind is not sold ANYWHERE anymore, I settled for these....
And then I come downstairs and find this.....See this lovely pile of clothes? Well look closer....

See the white dots all over them?....

See them now....these clothes have already been through the washer, I opened it to load them into the dryer, and found this.....

The culprit.....that's right, this lovely little thing was washed with our clothes, and was it clean, HECK NO! And how, you may ask, did I miss this when putting clothes into the washer?....

Because it was stuffed into the leg of these! NOT the owner of the diaper's pants!......

So, it is almost noon, and I am cleaning up this horrible mess, and just barely feeding my kids! As you can see, I have a 2 year old that refuses to keep his diaper on, and takes off said diaper and hides them all over the house, and apparently in the laundry hamper! He puts his pants back on with no diaper and no underwear so that I don't know until it's too late! He refuses to potty train, and it's constantly walking up to me with his diaper "goodies" in his hand! On top of this, I wake up this morning to find that my 4 year old has dumped out a whole brand new thing of bubbles all over the kitchen counter and floor! After multiple time outs this morning, I'm ready to hire a babysitter and take off and spend the day at a day spa!

I'm laughing so hard because this just happened to me, too! Actually twice in one week! Such a mess and so annoying!!!
Oh kim.....we need to live by each other again!
Oh, man! I feel for you. The diaper in the laundry happened here a couple of months ago and after that, all Addie was allowed to wear at home was a diaper, duct taped closed, with a zippered sleeper on backwards so that she couldn't take it off. We still do that for bedtime, but potty training in the daytime is going better now. There is an end to this, hang in there! and in the meantime, take any time away that you can get!
Thanks cassidy! My husband and I were just talking about duct tape! The sleeper idea is genius though! I will for sure be doing that!
We have also washed a couple of diapers! Sadly, it is mom and dad who accidentally put it in the laundry hamper though! Have David watch the kids and go shopping by yourself!
Lol... Yeah sorry it's funny. When things happen to others, you'll laugh too I'm sure because you've been there before :-) You may not laugh now, but down the road you'll laugh. And I say go get that babysitter and go to the spa :-)
Oh, gosh..this brings back a memory of the day when Ben put chewing gum in the washer. Your mother must have spent 2-3 hours cleaning up the mess it left. Since Ben was a teenager at the time, I remember telling Pam that I would not have cleaned it up, I would have waited for Ben to get home, made him clean it up and then do the laundry that had gotten all messed up from it. Of course, you can't quite do that with a 2 year old. Sounds like they are both doing some acting out from the major change of the move. Hang in there. This too shall pass!
