New Family Pics

We had our family pictures taken a couple weeks ago and just got them back, there are a ton, so I'll just post my favorites. Our kids would not look at the camera or smile together, so I like these ones because they are at least looking.

Love his grin!
We had to get a picture of Natey "getting tough".

This picture reminds me of Kevin on "Home Alone".
My second favorite of Natey.
Another where they both looked and kind of smiled.
I really liked this background.
Love this one!
This one makes me laugh.

Love these ones of the boys together!
FAVORITE!

I just love the look on Natey's face here.
He had to have this hat, so I let him wear it for a couple pics.

Look What I Made!!!

So, at the beginning of 2009 I said that one of my New Year's resolutions was to learn to sew. It's been taking forever, but I have been consistantly working on it. Thanks to my wonderful mother in law and sister in law, I have been learning so much. They are so patient with me and so great to help me. Here are a couple things I've made: nursing covers, burp cloths, hair accessories, car seat canopies, Halloween costumes, in the process of making a quilt, and tonight I made the boys some pajama pants. I forgot to take pictures of some things, and they were gifts, so I can't really do anything about it, but I plan on making some things again someday when we have another baby. For now though.....
The boys new pajama pants, I think I'll make shirts tomorrow. They love dinosaurs though, so they were way excited.
Haha, Johnny was trying to show off his muscles!
This is my quilt, the squares aren't sewn together in this picture, they are sewn together now, I'm just adding the border.
My favorite hair thing I've made so far.

Just some cutie's!

Gotta love these boys! They always do something to make me laugh and smile, I'm so glad they are buddies now, now if I could only get a good picture of them together!

The Ocean

This is taking me forever to update my blog and catch up on things from our California trip. Things have just been so busy since Davie started school. Also Johnny is in tumbling now and that takes up part of our week.

Anyways, our last day in California we took the kids to the beach, up until then Johnny thought that the ocean was the Logan Aquatic Center! Haha, the ocean was so amazing for him, he couldn't take his eyes off of it, he loved everything about the beach. He loved running away from the waves with Daddy, building sand castles with Icky, and finding seaweed and shells with me. He actually cried when it was time to go and begged us to move to California so he could go to the ocean everyday! I'm really glad he liked it so much because that is my favorite place to go too, I love everything about the beach and the ocean, if I could I would live right on the beach and spend all my time outside in the sand.

Natey really liked it too, he loved holding my hands and letting the waves come splash his legs, he would laugh really hard every time the water hit him. He also loved the seaweed, so much in fact that we had to constantly stop him from eating it! He loved playing in the sand and watching it run through his fingers.

After 2 days of Disneyland it was so nice to relax for half a day before starting the trip home. Davie and I got to relax and catch some sun, my legs were so burnt they ended up peeling later, I remembered to put sunscreen on the kids, but not myself, smart. The beach we were at had a small pier with a little restaurant at the end of it where we ate some lunch. They had really good homemade clam chowder, and we got some little fish toys for the boys. It was just a great day, I wish we could do that everyday, my kids were so good and happy out there.

So, these pictures are backwards in order, oh well.

Here we are eating our clam chowder, (warning, I look scary in all these pics, absolutely no makeup). I have no idea what Johnny's doing.

I love this pic, he's so excited.
Love this one too, the two of them in their hats just playing together, so cute!
My kids love being dirty.
Natey trying to stock up on seaweed.
Johnny's finished sand castle.
He was so proud of himself for making this.
My "Edward" feet, lol, you can't tell from this picture, but the sand was so sparkly, Davie looked down at my feet and was like, "Look, you're Edward!". (Those who have seen Twilight should know what I'm talking about, it seriously looks like he's got sand glued to his body)
Icky & Johnny working on the sand castle.
So handsome, I love this kids eyes and smile.
Davie and Johnny running from the waves, Johnny loved this, he did this for over an hour.
Natey showing me some seaweed.
