Also, I'm not sure on his stats, but he's a little bit bigger than Johnny was at one year. He doesn't walk yet, but it'll be soon, he holds onto things and walks around, I don't think he has much interest yet, crawling's just so much easier to him. He's still a mama's boy, but not as bad as he used to be. He's started to express himself more and talk more. He can say: "Dada, Mom, brother, ball-ball, dog, buh-bye, hi, bath-bath, car, vroom- vroom, GG, grandpa, & night-night". He's still way shy though and will usually only say these things in front of us at home. He loves sharing and tries to share everything with us, including chewed up food and his binky, he loves to sneak that into our mouths when we're not looking. Natey has always loved hair, it's like a comfort thing to him, when he's really upset he cuddles up with me and holds on to my hair. I don't know what he's going to do if I ever cut it. He's a really good sleeper at night now, as long as he has his Mickey Mouse he's happy!
We took this video after Natey ate his cake, so hyper!

My Baby's One!

Natey's birthday was on Monday, I can't believe how fast and slow this year has gone by all at the same time. It seems like we've had Natey forever, and like Johnny's always had a little brother. It also seems like just yesterday I found out that my mom passed away.

Anyways, we had a lot of fun on Natey's birthday, a few days before we headed down to Salt Lake for my sister in laws baby shower. On the way down I got a call from her husband saying she was in labor right then, so we changed plans and headed to the hospital instead. Just a couple hours later little MaKaye was born! I got to be in the room, it was so amazing! It made me remember Natey's birth and seeing him for the first time, which made his birthday even more special. Johnny and Nate both love their new cousin so much, Johnny has held him a ton already and tells everyone how cute he is.

Davie was out of town for a couple weeks helping a friend with some alarm installs, but he met us in Salt Lake on Sunday morning. The boys were so excited to see him, and me too! He made it just in time for Natey's birthday Monday. It was so much fun! Davie's mom made a Mickey Mouse cake for him, it turned out amazing, she is super mom, she just wrote and published a book, takes care of 12 kids, has 10 cute grandkids that she helps with, and apparently she's an amazing artist too! Natey loved his cake and kept trying to get to it before it was party time. Johnny also loved it and took a big bite out of the cheek right before we started singing to Nate!

We gave Natey a piece of cake and some ice cream to devour, he loved it, and it gave him a major sugar high for the rest of the night. It took a long bath to get all the cake and ice cream off of him and out of his hair. We gave him presents after his bath so he wouldn't get them all icky. We gave him a little ride on pony toy, it's so cute, but the song it sings is getting old pretty quick, I'm very excited for the batteries to die! We also gave him a stuffed giraffe, (Nicky, I thought of you when I bought it! Just cuz you always say I'm obsessed, lol) and a Mickey Mouse bucket and shovel for the beach this summer. (Bear Lake) He loves them all, he is so cute riding his little pony, Johnny rides it a ton too, he thinks it was also his birthday the other day.

Isn't this cake awesome?!? Thanks Gail! Look how big!
Johnny's bite out of it.
Johnny cried when after he ate the cake, he new he was in trouble.
I love this face he makes while he's chewing.
So cute!
He's so happy, tons of sugar!
Look how big Natey looks next to MaKaye!
Johnny loves holding his new cousin!
Nate thought this bucket was a cup and tried to drink out of it!

Catching Up!

Well, I had a whole post typed up for this, but blogger deleted it, so this will be the shortenend version just explaining each picture:

This is a wipes clutch I made, Davie thinks it's funny I spent so much time making a wipes case cute, but I'm a girl and like things to be cute rather than plain.

This is my Mother's Day gift from Davie, I picked it out.

The boys are loving bathtime lately. They love to put this bath puzzle together on the wall.

Johnny took this picture of me a few weeks ago. SCARY! But look how long my hair's getting! This is what we eat for dinner when Daddy's out of town for ROTC stuff. LOL, when he's not here to make us eat real food. (Yes, it's KIX, peas, and ramen, gross I know.) My handsome little almost 1 year old. Best bud Johnny. For Easter we went down to Salt Lake, we got to see lots of family and had a fun Easter egg hunt. Here's Natey finding an egg. He found a camouflage colored egg, he loved it and wouldn't put it down. This is Lou Lou, "the REAL Easter Bunny" Johnny and cousin Libby petting Lou Lou. Johnny and cousin Miriam waiting for the egg hunt to begin. Uncle Aaron and Johnny. Uncle Aaron sneaking into another picture. We went to Baby Animal Days a few weeks ago. My friend Nicky came and helped with the boys, they had a blast. This cow was so cute, it ate a little girls jacket and she just let him. Natey and Johnny loved this Easter Bunny, they had no idea it was just a man in a costume. Johnny kept saying how the huge bunny could hold him.

Natey and me on the train ride.
Johnny was so excited to finally go on the train. We waited in line forever and he didn't understand why we had to let other people get on before us.
Johnny loves snakes, he loved touching them too.
Look how cute this little turtle is!
They had pony rides, Natey wasn't sure what to think, but didn't act scared. Isn't he so cute sitting on that pony?
Johnny threw a huge fit about riding the pony, he said he didn't want to, but as soon as it started walking he loved it and wanted to do it again.
