Doctors?

Johnny does not currently have a pediatrician that we see, when he was born we had one, but we had a couple bad experiences with him and decided to stop taking him there. He's been a little sick this last week and it's not getting better so we're looking for someone good here in Logan to take him to. Also, we will need someone when the new baby's born so it'd be nice to find someone ahead of time. If anyone knows of a good doctor up here please leave a comment and we'll check them out. We are into more natural things and don't want a doctor that will judge us or criticize the way we do things. We'd just like one for when our children truly do need to go in and also for the first couple of months after they're born to check their growth. Let us know......we don't want to go in not knowing anything about the doctor. Thanks.

Cassidy said...: We never got a pediatrician in Logan since we weren't there very long, but when we told our doctor in Ogden (who we loved) that we were moving, she recommended Dr. Mike Visick. I don't know anything else about him, but I would trust our doctor's recommendation.
Also, Tyler's aunt lives in Ogden and takes her two boys to Logan to the doctor because she likes him so much. I also don't know anything about him, but his name is John Odell.; January 26, 2009 at 2:15 PM
Danielle and Brian said...: Hey Erin! I work for three great pediatricians. If you are more into the natural way of things I would either see Dr. Armstrong or Dr. Jorgensen. Dr. Jorgesen is a female. They are all great doctors though. I would recommended them to anyone depending on their personalities. You can come and do a parent consult with one of them. I do know that Alisha also works at a Peds office and she also works with great doctors at Tree House. Our office is Primary Care Pediatrics. Good Luck!!; January 26, 2009 at 4:20 PM
Carly said...: We go to Dr. Isaacson, and we have been really happy with him. He would definitely do a patient consult with you if you wanted....then you could make sure the big things are out of the way, but I'd at least give him a shot.; January 26, 2009 at 11:13 PM

-Johnny-"Because, I'm so so scared of not being weird!"

10/25/10: Johnny: "I need you to take me to the D.I. so I can use their cool potty and get a drink."

10/13/10: Johnny-"Mom, when I'm a girl I can paint my toenails."

-Me-" You will never be a girl Johnny."

-Johnny-"I don't really want to be a girl, I just want to paint my toenails. Libby & Miriam get to paint their toenails."

10/11/10: Johnny-"Mom, Nate's getting tough with me!" (That means Natey was doing his look where he pokes his lips out.) Johnny started crying because Nate wouldn't stop looking at him like that.

10/6/10: Johnny-"Mommy where's my little sister?"

-Me-"You don't have a little sister."

-Johnny-"Yes I do, her name's Nellie Night."

-Me-"Oh really? Where is she?"

-Johnny-" Um, she's on the moon."

-Me-" Who else?"

-Natey-"Paul, & Icky!" (aka Emily, apparently his uncle & aunt are cartoon characters!)

6/27/10:Me-"It's freezing out here, they should call it Global Cooling."

-Johnny-"No Mommy, it's Global WARM!"

5/18/10: Johnny-"Mommy, I was falling with style!"

4/23/10: Johnny came and laid down on the kitchen floor and poked his lip out pouting.

-Me-"Johnny, what's wrong, are you ok?"

-Johnny-"Yes, I'm ok."

-Me-"Then what's the matter?"

-Johnny-" My Daddy's annoying!"

4/23/10: Johnny-"Mommy I have a headache."

-Me-"I'm sorry, where does your head hurt?"

-Johnny-(Patting his tummy) "Right here."

-Me-"Oh, that's your tummy, you have a tummy ache."

-Johnny-"It hurts right here, (still patting his tummy) and it's not a tummy ache, it's a head ache!"

4/17/10: Johnny-"Mommy, sing me the park song."

-Me-"What's the park song?"

-Johnny-"It's about slides & swings & stairs."

-Me-"Well, I don't know that song so I can't sing it."

-Johnny-"Yes you can, just think about the park, then open up your mouth & make a song come out!"

4/6/10: Me-"Ggrrr...." (Johnny was standing on my computer cord and wouldn't move)

-Johnny- "Mommy, don't say ggrr, say dang it!"

4/1/10: Johnny-"Spiderman was a prophet" (Reading a spiderman book to Natey)

3/30/10: Johnny-"Lehi was a prophet, he built some applesauce. Lehi also built a airplane, and then he built an air force." (Reading the Book of Mormon kids reader to me)

3/16/10: Johnny-"Mommy, I want a gonnerrlla, may I please have take home a gonnerrlla?" (Gorilla)

3/15/10: Johnny-"I'm not Daddy's boy, I'm Paul's boy!"

2/24/10: Johnny-"Charlie bit me..." (just type that in on youtube and you'll understand.)

2/9/10: Johnny-(We were eating fruit cups and ran out....) "Alright, just give me the keys Mommy, I'll go to the store and get some more, I'll be right back." (He put on his shoes and coat and actually opened the door to go.)

2/9/10: Johnny-" Mommy, hold still, I just want to put my spit in your mouth." (Gross)

2/5/10: Johnny- "I need to go find Santa so we can go outside and make the sun come down, so the snow will go away and we can eat breakfast and go swimming. I just need to take my gloves to Santa so he can get the sun down." (Don't ask, so random, took an hour to convince him it wouldn't work.)

1/29/10: Johnny-"Mommy, don't do this at me with your head..." (shakes head back and forth, because I was shaking my head "no" at him)
