For Natey's birthday we decided to do a combined party with his cousin. Kaycie's son McKay turned one a couple days before Nate's birthday. We had a ton of fun! Kaycie was so great. She planned an awesome Pirate birthday party for them! We started off with train rides until everyone arrived.
Nate loves to ride the train with Uncle Michael.
I'm not sure what he was doing in this picture, I just thought it was adorable! He's such a goof ball!
For the party we had a treasure map, and the kids had to go to different places on the map and complete different tasks to become a pirate!
The boys loved sword fighting! We tried to keep the swords, they didn't make it more than a day before the boys popped them.
"Captain Chunk", the kids had to pick a pirate name! Johnny's name was "Boat"! LOL
Nate got some really fun presents, Andy's friend Becky & Joey's friend Sara came and gave him some Cars toys.
We love Geo Trax at our house, my dad got some tracks to add to our set, Nate was so excited.
I got Nate & McKay toy lawnmowers, they've been a big hit, he loves to mow our lawn.

I found a whole Geo Trax set at a yard sale, with the train, for $6! We had to put it in this moving box, it was so big!
Also, for his birthday, he got some big boy underwear. We're trying to get him excited for potty training. We're hoping to start this coming week!
The party was so fun & Nate keeps wanting to have more birthday parties now. He keeps asking me if it's his birthday again yet. Kaycie also made an awesome cake, but my camera was dead, so I have to get the pictures off my phone.
