Slacking

So, blogger's retarded and won't let me put the pictures under the text I already typed. So, here they are.
My little Rambo....
We took the kids to the Treehouse Childrens Museum the weekend of my dad's wedding. Natey insisted on wearing a pink hat.
My sisters and me!
Fell asleep eating snacks on the couch.
He loves packing things into his backpack!
My boys love bubble baths!

Also at the childrens museum.
He loves his Woody doll!
Rambo again, Nate and Johnny went to an Army birthday party, they were all decked out in Army clothes and with face paint. I wasn't able to get a pic of Johnny before he changed.

Wow I've been slacking lately! There has just been so much going on and no time for computers or blogging!

The boys are still growing like weeds. Johnny started going to primary in January, it's so crazy to think about. He loves it, but hasn't been able to go much so far because of being sick and out of town a couple of times. He's obsessed with coloring right now, and loves trying to draw hearts and circles. He's starting to be a concerned older brother and look after Natey, which means he's constantly tattling on Natey as well. Natey has got a huge vocabulary all of a sudden. He's speaking in full sentences and you can have a whole conversation with him and he understands very well. He still throws fits all the time, but you can talk to him and calm him down pretty quickly, he's starting to understand not to cry to ask for something but to use his words.

About a month ago I had to get my wisdom teeth out. I felt fine for the first 2 days, then the 3rd day I woke up horribly swollen and in tons of pain. Apparently there was a nerve in the way of one of my teeth and it suffered some damage while they were removing it. It hurt so bad, the whole side of my face hurt and I couldn't eat hardly anything for almost 2 weeks. I'm finally feeling better and able to eat normal again, but it sure made January an awful month. I spent a lot of time laying on the couch and constantly taking pain medicine. I would seriously rather be in labor than do that again!

Since I've been feeling better the kids and I have been keeping busy. We've been trying to get out of the house regularly to get through these last couple months of winter. Luckily we've found lots to do! The new chick-fil-a helps us out on Mondays by providing a free 2 hour preschool activity. The boys love going there and reading stories and playing with play dough, they also do a craft to go with the story they read each week! A friend in the ward and I started a play group on Tuesdays, which is great for me too. The kids get to play with other kids their age and I get to chat with other stay at home moms! The rest of the week is busy with tumbling, institute (yep, they have a class where the kids can come too! I love it!), and our cleaning day. The kids have liked getting out more lately and we've been watching a lot less tv during the day, which is great!

We've also been busy recently with my dad's wedding. He and Mary got married on Feb 4th. It was a crazy busy weekend, but also very worth it. We got to hang out with lots of family, including my sister and her daughter that live in Missouri. Her little girl was so cute and fun to hang out with, I already miss her so much! My dad's wedding went really well, it was a small cute ceremony with family and close friends, and afterwards we had a dinner instead of formal reception. We got to meet Mary's children and grandchildren that day, I was pretty nervous, but they seem really friendly and nice.

So I've been really bad about taking pictures lately, but I will post some soon. Here are a couple recent ones from my phone though!

Good to hear your news! I feel bad I saw you a couple weeks ago and didn't know about the wisdom teeth-that's a bummer. The Chick-fil-a thing sounds fun.. maybe we'll have to meet up with you sometime!
