Davie quit Qwest about a month ago, it was good for us for a while, but things were getting ridiculous. They started cutting employees benefits without informing them, and stopped paying tuition, but only for some employees. They came to us in July and took back Davie's tuition, which had already been paid in January, for the spring semester. That really hurt us, because in order to register for fall semester Davie had to go back and re-pay the spring tuition. It was such a joke, oh well, we're done with them.
So, wondering what Davie will be doing instead? We thought long and hard and prayed a lot before coming to this decision, but we think this could be a good thing for our family, Davie is going to be joining the Air Force.

He is not going in enlisted though, he started the ROTC program at school this semester and will be going in as an officer when he has finished school. Right now he is doing full-time school and not working, he is hoping to pick up a part-time job soon. Asfor finances, we have some savings and after boot camp next summer, we will start getting some money monthly from the Air Force.
The week before school started we went camping up at the cub river. My brother and his family, and Davie's family came with us. It was so much fun, we played volleyball, the boys tossed around a football, and Johnny loved running around outside with his cousins. There were a bunch of cows that kept walking by our campsite and the kids thought they were cool to see so close. Nathan loved camping and didn't cry the whole time, I'm thinking he needs to go camping more often. I forgot my camera at home, so I'm collecting pictures from family and will post them soon.
Another thing we've done recently is see Harry Potter 6, twice....we love it! I was expecting an ok movie when we went, but it was hilarious! Davie is so excited for part 7 that he might actually read the book with me. (Those who know Davie know that he doesn't read for fun.)Davie started school last week, and so far it's going well. He is taking a class from someone we know, so that's a little weird and puts extra pressure on him to do well in that class. On Mondays and Wednesdays he has to be to school at 6 a.m. for physical training for ROTC. That's been kind of rough on us, he feels out of shape, and I actually have to climb out of bed earlier on those mornings since he's not home to take care of Johnny, he is a MAJOR morning person. I'm trying to become one.
The boys are doing well and growing like weeds. Natey Poo (that's my new nickname for him, I can't stop saying it) is getting really long and chunky, and Johnny grew a couple inches too. We've spent the last couple days getting new clothes for them for fall and winter and because all their pants are too short. They are starting to like eachother more and Johnny is starting to want to play with Natey, I'm so excited for them to play together someday and to be able to get things done around the house without stopping every two seconds!
So, that's what's up with us, pictures will come soon, I just need to remember to take my camera with me places.

Erin! Wow you have a lot going on right now! I've been meaning to come by and visit you...I miss seeing you. Anyway, glad to hear the update!
Good luck with the ROTC. Sounds like you guys are super busy!
hey! rotc it is, eh? nice. it'll be great! we miss you guys, when are you coming to visit?
I'm really excited for David about ROTC. Tell him to feel free to call Matt if he has any questions about what's in store in his future! Matt did OTS (not ROTC) but most of our friends did ROTC and we could get David on the phone with any number of them. We have loved the airforce, but a big part of that has been because Matt LOVES his job. Does David know what he will want to do in the Airforce?
We have not seen Harry Potter yet... It must be pretty good! We will have to check it out!
