Catching Up!!!

I know I post a ton lately, but there are a few things I've wanted to post but couldn't because my computer was being retarded and deleted a bunch of my pictures and files. So first up....I never posted my New Year's Resolutions, and I decided to get somewhat creative and type them up in photoshop....You'll notice that I said "learn to sew" in there, and I'm not just kidding around this time, for those of you who know my history with sewing. Check it out.Yes, I actually got a sewing machine, the even cooler thing.....it was only $15! We looked at a couple at Wal-mart, but had heard bad things about them. We were at the D.I. and saw a couple machines there, several people looked at this one but didn't get it, so we figured there must be something really wrong with it. Well, Davie spent like half an hour checking it out, and a couple settings were off and it made it seem like it didn't work. He put everything on the right settings and got it working. We got it home and he cleaned it really nice and adjusted a couple more things on the inside and it works great! We might take it in sometime for a tune up, but as for now I've got something to practice on. I decided to get right to work learning and attempted to make a nursing cover. The first attempt would technically work as one, but I got ugly material for practice, and if you look at the stitching it looks horrible.
Attempt 2 went way better, I learned from my mistakes on the first one and really tried to be careful not to make those mistakes again. So, if you were able to see the stitching on the second one you'd see a huge improvement! And I think I may actually use the second one when our little boy is born.
So, there they are.....anyways, my next project is going to be baby legs....I found a tutorial online that looks like something I could figure out, so be watching, I'll post a pic when they're done.

Also, I cut my hair forever ago and never posted a picture of it. It's already grown out a lot, and my bangs look retarded since I'd tried to trim them myself the other day.
