We had to keep the binky in Johnny's mouth at all times because he kept eating the sand.
School's started back up, which means Davie is up early each morning and heading to school and then straight to work, it stinks because we see him less, but we know it's worth it to get finished with school.
Our ward switched to the nine thirty block, which we were hoping would be an easier time with Johnny and his nap schedule, it's not though. It was really hard the first week, he cried a lot, and got really rowdy in Relief Society and had to sit in the hall. We're hoping we can switch him down to one nap a day so that church isn't so hectic, and we're really trying to teach him that church is a time to be reverant, kind of a hard thing to teach a ten month old, but you got to start sometime.
Also, I am starting work this week......and it's a job where I can take Johnny. I'm going to be watching some kids that I nannied when I was going to school before Davie and I were married. It's only 2 mornings a week, but it'll help out a little bit and give Johnny the chance to be around kids more often, I'm really excited about it, I think it'll be really good for him.
Johnny is walking really well now and goes so fast he's practically running, we've decided the next thing we want to teach him is to use the toilet......doubt it'll happen any time soon, but we're setting him on it every once in a while to get him used to the idea. Also, he is very obsessed with dogs right now. Davie went down to the BYU game last weekend and I went to my mom's during the day, well she has 3 very noisy dogs and Johnny thinks it's so cool. He started calling my mom Nana, and he walks around saying " Nana, dogs, woof woof". It is so funny, he barks all the time and talks about dogs all the time. He looks for pictures of dogs in his books, keeps wanting to watch 101 Dalmations, and whenever we talk about "Nana", he says "Dogs, woof woof". So I guess she's the dog grandma now, and that's what he associates with her.
Other than "dog", and "woof woof", Johnny has learned some new things lately. He knows where his nose, belly, toes, ears, eyes, tongue, and hair are, and shows us all the time. He's starting to figure out how to actually call people on our phones, he can turn lights on and off, recognizes "MaMa" and "DaDa" in pictures, and has a favorite food.....cantelope. This is such a fun age, it's so neat to see his face light up when he learns something new and understands it. It's also nice that he can communicate a bit better with us.

Hunter has always been a punk at church-I told Kev he might not be LDS when he grows up! ;) But anyway, I feel your pain. Sad that your blog got messed up-computers are too smart sometimes, eh? Johnny's not a baby anymore, he's a little boy! Keep the updates coming!
