Merry Christmas!!!

Wow, what a day! Can't believe it's Christmas! It always goes by so fast, especially this year where baby is due in a couple weeks! We spent the last few days in Salt Lake celebrating with David's family, and then drove home last night to spend Christmas Eve and day at home. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins and doing all the fun Christmas activities! Last night we had a Christmas feast, got new jammies and read The Night Before Christmas before getting the boys to bed. Santa got done at a good time and David and I relaxed and watched It's a Wonderful Life! This was a really fun year since the boys both understand Christmas and Santa, they were so excited to see what he would bring this morning! They were so good and grateful for all their gifts!
Hanging out with cousins and seeing Grandpa Claus!
This is the only Santa's lap that Nate would willingly sit on this year!
 My cute Johnny!

David and his brothers got these awesome dart guns and shirts from Grandpa Claus...and I forgot to take a pic.

Ready for bed in their new jammies! Nate was so excited, he LOVES pajamas!
 Johnny checking out his stocking!
Checking out Nate's stocking, he found it at 5 in the morning, went through it, and divided it into 2 piles. He said he was going to share a pile with Johnny, it was SO cute. Then he willingly went back to bed for 3 hours!
 Santa has come!
They couldn't wait to see what he brought!

The only thing Nate asked for this year, a "Jake sword", from Jake and the Neverland Pirates! He was so happy that Santa brought it!
This pirate ship was a huge hit! They have played with it almost all day!
Another shot of the Jake sword!
Johnny asked Santa for a nerf gun!
 These boys love Spiderman.
 More spiderman....
And Johnny's all time favorite toy, Legos!
We checked out this movie at the library a few months ago and him been wanting it ever since, so so cute!

 Present from GG and Grandpa!
Johnny's starting to read, so he would sound out what the tags said and hand out presents to people!

Giving Daddy the gift they got him!
Johnny is also handy with cutting open tough boxes!
I just love this pic of Nate sitting in the middle of all the trash playing with that pirate ship still!
They got some pirate accessories to use with their pirate ship!

A few months ago Johnny said he wanted an Ipad for Christmas! LOL, Santa found an awesome deal on a knock off brand tablet and put lots of kids games and songs on it for him! He says he likes it better than an Ipad!

I was so excited to give David his gift! He's been wanting a nice tablet for a while to use for work, he never buys nice things for himself, he's always saving up to get me and the kids fun things, I wanted to get him something he wouldn't buy for himself! It took weeks of getting creative and saving on our grocery budget, but I was able to get him the one he'd been eyeing on a good deal! So hard to keep it a secret!
I'm not sure what Nate was doing, I just love this pic.
Love this pic of my boys on their tablets!
David spoiled me! My birthday is just over a week before Christmas, he wanted me to have a nice birthday and Christmas this year. He worked extra hours and did some extra installs to buy me some nice gifts! I am still in shock at my presents, love that man! He got me a Silhouette machine, which I've been eyeing for a couple years now! And a new laptop!!! I love them! Then he surprised me with even more this morning! A nice footbath for my swollen pregnant feet, and a bunch of accessories for my silhouette machine! I can't wait to start crafting with it!
We had such a fun day with our kids! I just love watching their excitement and seeing them play together! Christmas is so fun as a parent! I get so excited to give them gifts and watch their faces light up!

6 months! WOW!

Here I am again playing catch up. I don't really have a good excuse as to why I haven't update the blog in 6 MONTHS!!! So, I will just give a shortened version of what's up with us the last 6 months and hopefully be better in the future!

In May we decided instead of presents for Nate's birthday we would take a family trip to Disneyland and to visit some family in California that we don't see often. It was so fun! Nate loved it and didn't mind at all not getting other presents, he still talks about the trip and how it was the best birthday! I for sure want to do something like that again instead of gifts sometime. It was more appreciated and we have great memories from the trip.

A couple days before California I took a pregnancy test and found out that we were expecting! We had been trying for a while and had some complications. We were excited but also very nervous, the dr in Arizona put me on some medication to help the pregnancy, which made me super sick. So, when we got back to Arizona I felt awful and the weather was so so hot I thought I was going to die! I laid on the couch for weeks, couldn't take care of my kids, and just wanted to be done.

David needed to come to Utah for a few weeks for some work stuff, so we decided to all go and that way we could visit family and I could get some rest and have some help with the kids. We were here a few weeks when we decided to stay in Utah, David and his brother went back to Arizona and packed up our stuff and brought it back. We're still kind of in between things and figuring some stuff out. We're living in our condo right now until we figure out if we're selling it or renting it out. We're hoping to move to Utah County in the next couple of months.

As for the baby, I'm 8 months pregnant, due January 24th, with another boy! We're very excited to see our little guy next month and the boys are so excited to be big brothers! These pictures are random, but they are what I could find from the last few months.

David & Johnny went camping for Father & sons outing, Nate was really sad he didn't go, he set up this toy tent and camped out in there that night!
Beach fun on our California trip.
Johnny loved telling stories to Grandpa Leo!
And giving hugs to Grandma Mary! We miss them so much, wish we could see them more often!
While in California we got to attend church where my brother in law is on his mission. It was fun to see him.
Cute cousins hanging out on the 4th of July.
David officially has his bachelors! Took them a while to send his diploma, but we celebrated when they did!

Our little guy! I think he looks like Nate.
Seeing the witch at the Pumpkin Walk, Nate thought she was the coolest part.
He is FINALLY potty trained! Took FOREVER!
Ready to play in the first snow this winter!
Johnny dressed up for Halloween at preschool, he was Aniken Skywalker this year.
Nate was Cosmo the Cougar, it was a tricky costume.
Johnny & his 5 balloons for his 5th birthday!
One of his presents was rollerblades and going to the skating park. He was great at it!

Just love them in their church clothes.
They each have tiny trees to keep in their rooms for Christmas, they had so much fun decorating them.

 My little elf!
They were both pretty shy with Santa this year, Nate wouldn't say a single word to him!

Silly pictures from our California trip, we went to the Legoland Aquarium, it was really cool.
Horrible picture from Disneyland, I need to find the others, you can tell I didn't feel well.
Johnny's last day of preschool in Arizona.
Johnny and his teacher.
