Peanut Butter Play Dough!

A friend of mine in Logan gave me this awesome recipe for Peanut Butter Play Dough, we haven't had a chance to make it until a couple weeks ago. It's edible, which is a huge bonus for Nate, he tries to eat play dough every time we get it out. They wanted to color it green, so it looks really discusting, which made these boys like it even more!

Can't get a real smile out of my boys anymore.
At least Johnny's is closer to normal.
Nate ended up playing with the cookie cutters long after cleaning up the play dough.
Doesn't that just look gross? Of course my boys have to pick the color that will make it look like this!

Meeting "The Jimmer"!

So the night before the BYU-Utah game our neighbor came over and told us Jimmer was going to be at Dicks Sporting Goods first thing in the morning. We got up early and rushed over to get in line. We made it at a good time too, we only had to wait about an hour and a half. By the time we left the line was wrapped around the mall! The kids are obsessed with Jimmer and were so excited to meet him!

This was the best I could get out of Johnny! He was being goofy cuz his friends were there with us.
Nate was getting sick of the stroller.
Getting close, we had to take some pics while we were in line, they would only let you take one picture once you were up there with him.
Our neighbors boys getting basketballs signed. I am so glad they came with us, our kids were awesome in line since they had their friends to play with.

When we got up to Jimmer Johnny walked right up to him and said " Hi, my name's Johnny, who're you?" LOL. Jimmer started laughing and said "Hi Johnny, my name's Jimmer, did you know that?" Johnny "Oohh....you're Jimmer?" Haha, it was so funny! We had been in line forever, and could see him for half of the wait and been pointing him out to the boys. I guess somehow Johnny was still confused!

It was definitely worth the wait, the boys talk about it all the time, how they got to meet Jimmer and talk to him. He signed some BYU flags for them and they show everyone who comes over! As you can see, Johnny thought it would be funny to put his flag in front of his face for our ONE picture! Oh well, funny memories I guess.

Ice Cream Party!

A few months ago I got called to serve in primary. It has been a big learning experience for me, but I am very grateful that I get to work with the senior primary. We have some great kids in our ward. I never understood how you could love the people you're called to serve so much until this calling, I have really grown to love and care about the kids in my primary class. I worry about them and pray for them all the time. A couple weeks after I got put in, we started working towards an ice cream party. The kids had to bring there scriptures for so many weeks to earn it, and ended up bringing them every week and getting it early!

We just let them go nuts with the ice cream, it was a little crazy at my house that night, but worth it!

These girls are so sweet, love having them in my class.
Johnny and Nate also had a blast! The primary kids played games with them all evening, they got spoiled!
"S" decided to eat all her ice cream without a spoon!
Our bishop's wife is my co-teacher, she is such a neat lady and I'm so grateful I get to serve with her and get to know her better. The bishop came along to visit with the kids and get some ice cream as well!
Silly girls! All covered since they wouldn't use spoons! They borrowed Johnny and Nate's bibs so they wouldn't ruin their clothes!
"R" made it a little late, but proved he could eat just as much as the girls! My boys really look up to him cuz he plays all the sports that they like!

The Children's Museum

A couple weeks ago we got a pass to the Gateway Children's Museum, we've gone once and haven't had a chance to go back yet....so if anyone would like to go sometime, give us a call. Anyways, the boys had a blast! I was only able to get a few pictures on my camera and then the battery died, as soon as I can find the cord for my phone I'll post the pics I took on there.

Nate was so cute making these magnets twirl!
Love his cheesy faces!
David was very proud of how tall he built these magnet things!
Johnny would've spent the whole day playing with these magnets if we'd let him.
I love when Johnny concentrates and sticks his tongue out! Love my cute little boys!

Being Silly

I don't remember why we took these pictures. I just found them on my camera and thought they were fun!

Graves Family Reunion!

Today we had a Graves Family Reunion at David's parents house! It was so fun to see everyone, especially the ones from California that we don't get to see very often.
Johnny hanging out at dinner.
Sweet Natey Poo!
I warned David before taking his picture that it would be put on the blog, guess he didn't believe me!
Sweet little Muk! (McKay)
Two of the boys favorite uncles, Paul & Michael.
Somebody stuck this wrestling helmet on Nate at some point & he wore it for about an hour, it was so stinkin cute!
He was telling me about the helmet making him tough.
David's dad made a "candy cannon", here's everybody waiting for him to shoot off the candy!
The Candy Cannon, it's pretty awesome!
All the candy flying through the air.
Another favorite uncle, Aaron!
They had a fishing booth, the boys thought this was pretty cool, they got some sweet new hotwheels cars!
David's cousin Sara & her cute boy!
The guys had a game of football going while the kids fished.
Our brother-in-law, Matt, gave all the kids train rides!
Gorgeous Luci! I can't believe how much she's grown up lately!
Whitney's little girl wouldn't go without her, poor girl broke her leg last week. Whitney is prego with twins and thought she would break the train! She ended up loving the ride and the train was fine!
It was so fun to see everyone, and lots of fun playing games and getting to know David's extended family better. The boys loved all the kid activities, it was a great way to celebrate the 24th!

Hair!!!!

Keep scrolling down after this post, there are several more........

WARNING: Scary pictures of me!

So about nine months ago, my little niece and I decided to grow our hair out together and donate it for locks of love. It finally got to the point where our hair was driving us crazy and we decided to cut it a couple weeks ago.

Here are our before pics. My hair was curled the night before & in a bun all day while I was cleaning the house, but if it were clean and straight, it would be down by where my elbows hit.
Julia before....
Scary pic of me before.....
Another scary pic of before....

Styling her new hair....
How pretty!

Getting my ponytail ready!
Here it goes....
All gone.....12 1/2 inches!
Nate thought this was a helicopter in my hair!
After pics! Don't we look better?

Love it!
It was so much fun! I would do it again! Julia was so sweet and so great about growing out her hair! A friend from high school, Kallee Shelley, came to my house to cut and style our hair and she did an awesome job! I love my hair! I think I'll keep it shorter for a while!

After our hair was done I took Julia shopping for her birthday, and then we had an ice cream party back at my place to reward ourselves! It was so much fun, I loved being able to do this with my niece!
